Meet the Doctors of Verona Vet Med

Ron Schultz, DVM

Ronald M. Schultz, Jr. DVM is a 1989 graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine. “I am proud to have owned Verona Veterinary Medical Service, S.C. my entire career. Providing companion and food animal veterinary services for the Verona area community fulfills my practice goals and desires. I truly enjoy working with our clients and their animals”. Dr Schultz lives in Verona with his wife Julie and their family of cats, Spocky, Yoda, Rudy, Missy, Pebbles, and Tinkerbell. 

 Andrew Myers, DVM

Andrew Myers, DVM, is originally from Illinois and joined Verona Veterinary Medical Service, S.C. in May of 2025. He completed his undergraduate education in Utah before earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in Washington, Graduating in 2025. Dr. Myers is passionate about building strong relationships with clients and providing thoughtful, compassionate care for their animals. Outside of work, he and his wife, Sydney, have two dogs, Cache and Coug, two cats, milo and marble, and a tarantula (tiny Teagan).

Claire Loethen, DVM,

Originally from Missouri, earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona and her DVM from St. George’s University, completing her clinical training at the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Loethen’s top priority is providing compassionate, personalized care for companion and exotic animals. Whether her patient has fur, feathers, scales, or something in between, she loves helping pets live happy, healthy lives and building lasting relationships with the people who love them. Outside of work, Claire enjoys spending time with her husky, Sundqvist (Sunny), and her cat, Beans.
